At Puurgroenten we think about sustainability. All products are indoor grown. The seeds are being sown in a tray with mixed potting soil and other natural materials.
After sowing, the trays with the soil and seed are placed in the germ cel. The plants grow here till they are big enough to go to the greenhouse. At Puurgroenten we grow on a 'dry hydriponic system'. This means that we grow our plants on large ponds with floating plates. The water is collected rainwater. We analyze regularly the water quality in nutrients for the plants. The plants takes out the water what he needs for his growth. We do not pollute the environment with our waste. All the dressing to dust remain in our pond and rinsing out of the surface water. We are also getting our enery from our own solar panels.
